Day 01 :

Arrival in Leh

Arrive in Leh (by flight or road) and acclimatize to the high altitude (11,500 ft).

Evening: Relax and take a leisurely walk around Leh Market.

Overnight Stay: Leh (Hotel or Guesthouse)

Day 02 :

Leh to Lamayuru

Morning: Drive to Lamayuru (3–4 hours), the starting point of the trek.
Visit the Lamayuru Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh, known for its unique architecture and breathtaking views.
Overnight Stay: Camp near Lamayuru Monastery

Day 03 :

Lamayuru to Wanla (5-6 hours trek)

Trek Begins: Begin the trek from Lamayuru, walking through the Moonland Terrain (famous for its lunar-like landscape).
The trek will take you through the Prinkiti La pass (3,700m), crossing streams and narrow paths.
Overnight Stay: Camping in Wanla Village
Enjoy panoramic views of the Zanskar Range and surrounding villages.

Day 04 :

Wanla to Pritsak (5-6 hours trek)

Continue your trek through Zanskar Valley, passing remote villages and monasteries, with clear views of rivers and rugged mountains.
Cross through small passes and enjoy the untouched wilderness.
Overnight Stay: Camping at Pritsak Village

Day 05 :

Pritsak to Chilling (5-6 hours trek)

The final day of trekking leads you towards Chilling. As you near the end of the trek, enjoy views of the Zanskar River.
Chilling is a small village on the banks of the Zanskar River, known for its metalwork (Chilling is famous for its metalwork, including pots and utensils made from copper and iron).
Overnight Stay: Camping near Chilling or a local guesthouse in the village.

Day 06 :

Chilling to Leh

After a morning exploration of Chilling village, drive back to Leh (3–4 hours drive).
On the way, you can visit the Indus River or explore other local sights near Leh.
Departure: After reaching Leh, either catch your flight or spend an extra day for sightseeing around Leh, such as the Shanti Stupa, Hemis Monastery, or Pangong Lake.
